Over the years I have sent several of my youngsters to Jamie to be backed.  I have always been very happy with the progress they have made, giving them an excellent start from which to progress onto their competitive careers, which is essential for all equestrian disciplines.

High Standard

I first noticed Jamie as a young rider in the European team in 1995. His talent, skill and bravery was apparent even then. We followed his career over the next few years and as Jamie became a professional event rider my wife and I decided to buy a horse for him to ride, with Jamie's help we eventually found the right horse.

As an owner I can say I have never been disappointed with the horse or the rider. Jamie always ensures you get an update in the progress of your horse and where and when training is taking place. Should the horse be at training or competition Jamie's staff always turn out the horses to a high standard.

Jamie has a happy busy yard, all the horses enjoy their time at Waterford Farm and it shows in their willingness to please. The yard is a real family affair with Jamie's Mother and Father taking a real interest in all the horses like they were their own and always making you feel welcome. Their hospitality does not stop there, at competitions the whole family work hard to look after the owners making sure everybody is enjoying the day and gets fed and watered.

Having a horse with Jamie has been exciting, great fun and with Jamie's career going from strenght to strength I would recommend Jamie to anyone who has a horse that they would like to compete in eventing to a high level
